Well, mainly wanted to send this since year after year after year after year since I moved my site host to atlantic.net you've screwed up my domain name renewal. I get email confirmation's from the heldesk at support.hostonce.com with no problems, yet ironically I never receive any emails about my damn site renewal. Not that I should have to mind you, since you keep my credit card info on file all these years. I mean, what the hell's the point of keeping the credit card info on file if you aren't going to renew it when it needs to be renewed? Then to add more insult to injury you go and stealth change the damn billing site to ebill.hostonce.com/hostonce.asp again with no form of communication to me even though I'm still receiving emails fine and dandy from tech support when my domain name is screwed up again and again and again and again. Then I'm stuck waiting more time for the response to tell me something that should have been communicated in the first place and prolonging the time it takes to fix your mess.
I mean I can understand if there was insufficient funds or something, but that's not the problem. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the payment isn't being processed by an abacus so this really shouldn't be a complicated process. I enter my credit card information, you fellas save it as you've been doing and when the renewal date comes up you bill me so my site doesn't go down. It's how it works for my site host, it's how it works for my bank loans, it's how it works my web memberships, it's how it works for my cable company, it's how it works for my phone provider and I'm pretty sure it's how it works for just about anybody else that records your credit card info.
After trudging through all this bullshit again last year with the new billing site you snuck in on me, I finally after like five damn years get a email related to billing. Let's take a little looksy at that email for giggles...

Dear Valued Customer,
We would like to advise you that your contract with Hostonce is currently due for renewal. If you wish to continue hosting with us and/or renew your domain name, please use the secure Customer Care page on our website to update your credit card details and we will then process your payment and renew your account.
This page can be found at:
ebill.hostonce.com/
This link will bring you directly to the Customer Care page and this will allow you to enter the relevant changes. (If the link does not work,
please copy and paste the URL directly into your browser.) You will need to enter your user name and password to enter the Customer Care page. Please use your domain name with no dots/periods as a user name and the last 4 digits of your credit card as a password.

Well, I just rechecked my credit card and it's the exact same one it's been for the past several years and isn't set to expire until June 2009. It's also the exact same one that's still listed on file on the billing website that worked perfectly fine last year that has plenty of funds available in it. So when I saw this email and I read, "please use the secure Customer Care page on our website to update your credit card details and we will then process your payment and renew your account". It would seem by your own words that you intend to bill the credit card on file to renew my account, after all, why would you keep the damn thing on file if you don't intend to bill it.
But magically, again, you screw my domain name over. I went into my inbox since I pretty much never delete any emails and ra n a search for anything at all to do with hostonce. Only thing I come up with is this years invoice and the above lil reminder pretty much . Nothing about any kind of rejected payments, problems with my credit card or problems with the renewal . So this is almost mind boggling how you can continue to mess something this simple up year after year after year after year after year.
To be honest I want my $16 renewal refunded since I don't think you deserve it or even a wad of pocket lint given the years of crappy customer service I've had since I left it at you fellas managing only my domain name. Barring not getting a refund I would hope you take that $16 and make a bloody investment in a billing platform or partnership that works better than the horribly inept system you've have these past years .
