Since practically everyone would rather play my games (and others like Ira's "Fireman", rockman neo, Megaman vs Metroid, etc... and many others fun games on the net) with a joystick rather than keyboard, I've finally found a solution (rather one that beats spending $$$ for something like this). [glow=blue,2,300] KEYBOARD EMULATION!!!! [/glow] For those who don't know about this already (and to those who did and didn't share it with me ^_^) it's pretty much allows your gamepad to respond as if you were using the keyboard! I like gravis, so here's a link to their site to grab a paddle, though they should be in stock at your local electronic/game retailer... www.gravis.com/products/pro_x1007.htmlAnd here's a link to the section with the keyboard emulator... www.gravis.com/support/sup_1037.htmlAlso by doing a google search for something like "gamepad keyboard emulator" or inquiring to your controller maker's support team you should be able to find others. Feel free to post links to other sites that sell controllers & to the keyboard emulation software. I'm particularly looking for the Microsoft sidewinder ones since many have them. Have fun all ^_^ *Note I don't support any of this stuff, just showing it for those interested.
PS: Also I'm bored out of my mind at work

Thanks for the heads up on keyboard emulation!
Every time I play MMXN, I keep telling myself that it is too hard. It's impossible. Now I realize what the problem was: trying to map the controls of an SNES game onto a keyboard is ludicrous. No longer will I be plagued by poor button execution now that I can use my gamepad! This is a God-send! Thanks again!

Y'know, I used to do that kinda thing, keyboard emulation. My ol' SNES got shot by lightning, so I found an ol' emulation site and dled a few games which I in fact did own. Not a single one that I hadn't paid for. I had a gamepad, and used it, and it wasn't that bad. But, I played online games, and got so used to using the keyboard, especially for platformers. I use a format similar to an SNES controller, myself, which looks somewhat like this: W= Up A= Left S= Down D= Right J=Y (In this game, Shoot) K=B (Jump) I=X (Special) L=A (Dash) I never really used start or L/R, so oh well. If you don't have a gamepad, this configuration may work for you. It works for me, and I even have a gamepad myself! Not to mention, its a lot easier to dash-jump and shoot with my index finger than with a thumb these days...

I don't think MMXN wasn't that hard. My favorite game was Megaman Next. It was better than other real mega man games (like # 1). People who review bad on newgrounds have no idea what they are saying. They either don't no a thing about how hard flash is (and some pretend they actually know flash). Also, people probably think that there is nothing more than the starting bosses and quit because they can't stand a bit of real games. You are right in your responses that they should try playing tic-tac-toe (lol). You make the funniest responses to abusive people (especially the one about tetris). I like that you respond to every review on Newgrounds and in your website every day.
I would like to tell you a problem about Mega man Next on Newgrounds; The controls aren't shown anywhere. I figured them out myself because I was playing Illegal and you don't need specials, but for those playing on hard or easy, they might not even now the specials exist. The version on your website has everything explained. I don't think you can fix that on the game itself but put it in the author's comments because of the filesize.
Thanks for your time. Oh and just in case, lol means laugh out loud. I don't use internet slang that often, but I use simple ones that are common.
I'm going to buy my gamepad tomorrow. ;D

I'm very talkative, what can I say. MMN has a link in the NG comments like the one below that includes a full run down of the instructions. www.maelstormm.com/Games/MegamanNext/Instructions.htmDefinitely get the gamepad, it makes all flash/gamemaker games better (In my humble opinion).

The one I have a link to for Gravis should be adequate for one of their paddles. It's up at the top.

I lost the mini joystick 4 the Gamepad Pro and its harder 2 play. In some games that up arrow key is jump, I keep jumping when I walk. But games like MMXN dont have any problems. ;D So I have 2 use the keyboard 4 some games and the gamepad 4 others.

I like keyboard much better, due to my rapid index-thumb reflexes, because I only play GBA games , so the controls are actually quite easy.
