Overlord Mech Hover King Crab? Pesters everyone in any stage? Request of GM? Boy, GM, you're going DOWN for this one... Although, I WILL have fun with this one, I'll still enjoy torturing you for being a hypocrite. Baha, natch!
Stinger... I've played so many NES games I can't remember half of their names. Probably because half of them were in Japanese. Go living in South-east Asia. I think I'll look up Stinger, see if it's something I've seen before.
Cerberus != Original Hell Dog. Cerberus = Pathetic Excuse. Garm = Helheim Dog > Hell Dog, yo! That, and while Garm has one less pair of eyes than Cerberus does, it also doesn't have multiple heads. And everyone knows that the only thing multiple heads is good for is bickering.
Half the final fights from Wily were pathetic. The only really ingenious, as well as difficult, one I can think of was MM4's, and when Capcom realized how good it was, they ran it right into the ground. I miss when he just stuck to giant flying machines rather than stupid warping pods...

Ok, I can say with confidence that I never played Stinger. Instead, I played its prequel, only released in Japan, known as Twinbee. Looking at the stats for level 7... I sure am glad Beat doesn't die in one hit like Twinbee does...

A: No need to burst a gasket over this. Calm down, we don't hate you. I mean, it's not like we've alienated Anon.
B: Wade isn't trying to make it OBSCENELY hard. He needed another Crab boss of sorts, anyway, and this is sorta just poking a little fun at you, since you are the most ardent supporter of not insulting the creatures. While it's not a direct insult, calling its AI flawed in that it has an easy escape route can be turned into an insult. Heck, that's what Anon and I got in a big argument over, once. We burned traces of it before anyone learned, of course.
C: All flying enemies can be simply walked past. The BeeCopter is the primest example of an enemy you can simply pass by. Besides, with the amount of times the Mech Hover appears, we can't force you to repeatedly fight it over and over and over again... so why not make a simple escape route? The general flaw with flying enemies has always been that they all can be run past. The only way to make an enemy unpassable is if it's a wall, or basically making one. If you're above the ground, you can't do that. Even the old Mech Hovers could be passed easily.

If you lowered the mech's flight ceiling to about 50% of its current hight, the problem would be solved. There's the easy solution to the problem. A shame Wade's more interested in making me look as stupid as Zig, or he'd realize I said this. And no, you couldn't pass under the mech before: you'd knock your head on its feet. If Wade lowered the Hover Mech's current flight ceiling by about 50%, it could still block passage while being hard to hit.

Actually I have no intention of altering the Mech Hover. I was only saying that to tease GM since he did so much of it to Nameless One/Anon or whatever he's being called at the moment. The only thing that needs to be done to the Mech hover is to get him to align his X axis so his shots target you better, and to make his shots come out of the correct spot of his gun, no biggy. GM's just so uptight about these sorts of things he blows'm waaaay outta proportion then jumps the gun on top of that.
And why does everyone think stuff like that makes me mad? *Boggles* I could care less if someone finds a glitch or something easy in the game, I mean I'm playing the same game all of you are. I sure don't want some uber mech crab thing nuking me during the game, so I'm not going to do that to everyone (at least not in the finished game). I know it's not gonna be perfect and bugs/glitches happen. Sheesh gimme some credit.

Like GM said, I'm just making placeholders so I don't forget what's supposed to go where.
Stinger's a great game, I believe the US and Japan are one and the same, just the US version got horrible maimed story wise (like almost all of'm). The AI of the baddies is going to be a bit different from the game, but I'm going to get a good few of them in there. I'm debating on the bell thing as a life up.
==================================
SupaBass: - There's going to be something in here that's close to Doc Robot. At the moment there's a 50/50 for it. - The treble and Cerberus thing's a no go.
==================================
So the list of things at the moment is...
Bonus Stages: Woodman, Bubbleman, Snakeman, Super Mario, Final Fantasy, Castlevania, Tsunami Drake, Metal Warriors (though I'm debating this one now), and either a Ninja Gaiden/Vice Project Doom theme or a eye bleeding disco stage.
Bonus Stuff / Mini Games: Stinger Beat, Blazing Beat, Volley Bear, Time Trial, Gamma, Street Fighter, Bolt Blaster Beat(?), Doc Robot (?), Battle Chamber(?)

What happened to the "Scenery Stage" idea? I liked that one, even though I could never get you to explain it (I asked you about it twice if I remember correctly).

As for a replacement for the Metal Warriors, you could try something from, say, Front Mission Gunhazard. It's a fun game, plus the enemies in some levels are awesome. As well as some of the bosses.

The scenery thing was going to be a real life photo, manipulated into a stage.
Which after going over the list, I like that more than the Bolt Blaster match so Izza switch'm.
=====================================
I know what Front Mission is, but not that particular game. Did it have any sections in space?
=====================================
So the updated list of things at the moment is...
Bonus Stages: Woodman, Bubbleman, Snakeman, Super Mario, Final Fantasy, Castlevania, Tsunami Drake, Metal Warriors (though I'm debating this one now), and either a Ninja Gaiden/Vice Project Doom theme or a eye bleeding disco stage.

Gunhazard is much different than the other Front Mission games. It's a 2D side-scroller, for one thing. The final stages take place in a space platform, but outside of that, it's all on the Earth.

wow.the game is movein along fast.i got an idea for a mini game.
dogs day duel:everyone wanted to see rush and treble do a good fight so why not have then packed in there only little adventure and you can play as treble or rush and fight one another after going through some levels and totaling all monsters that appose them.probably just 2 or 3 levels i this mini game and at the 3rd level rush will fight treble or trebel will fight rush.

Dinky Updaty Goodness:
- Stinger Beat's up and running - Blazing Beat's upgraded to v2.5
===================================
SupaBass: Negative on the rush/treble things. Maybe in MMNR. Dis be Roll and Beat's turn to shine.

SM: Yeah, in the normal game they come from behind you in waves of 5 and behave almost the same. Really annoying, but you can use'm to cheese through the stage if you've got enough speed/skill. You can get like 10 of'm following you and the game's memory becomes filled so it won't spawn new baddies. Then you keep going in circles with'm till the final boss. I iz quite happy with how it turned out.
GM: Dunno. The layout's done, just not the coding.

Ah, you gotta love how only so many enemies can be on a screen at once... of course, in this version, it isn't easy to get the Suns to circle infinitely.
On another note, where'd WAPC go?
