You should DEFINITELY consider working at Capcom or what not ;D I second that. You'd make some great games.

I think I'd do pretty good in that market. I'm familiar to some extent of all the departments (Art, Music, Programming, Story, Marketing, etc...). God knows some of these companies out there could use some of my help.
Finally got the next update to the game done. Terra Drake's ready to rock (He's probably the hardest so far). And I did decide to add in 4 new enhancements, so they're there too now. Check the instructions for more details on them ^_^ Ram Knight's coming next...

;D WOOHOO!! An update! Still looking good, and Terra Drake, *shudder* d**m he's tough, his stage may be a little easy, but HE more than makes up for it.. the source items are looking pretty good, and that energy source may fix that nerfed energy bar, HOWEVER.....$500!?!? great, I better go get my virtual piggy bank, but so far so good, keep up the good work.

Ah, Terra Drake... one HELL of an opponent... took me 2 tries but I got him cause I had a full life bar the second time. One of the only bosses in these games that really gave me a problem... and I was playing on NORMAL and still had trouble with him! I tried both weapons, and Thunder Blast did alright, but Vine Strike sucked on him... Vine Strike did do OK on Thunder Gull though. I fought Gorillon with Zero, then took Thunder Gull and Terra Drake with X. Man, this game is gonna be WAY harder than Megaman Next was... But it's gonna be more fun for sure!

Yeah, the source things are expensive but they do help alot. After getting the Power Source, X/Sic/Plague can kill many baddies with just 1 normal shot. I just sponge the $$$ in Ram Knight's stage by re-entering the locked room until I get low on life. I made about $1200 in a few minutes. If you let them kill you, then you get another full lifebar to continue sponging with ^_^
I've toned the bosses down a notch since they are apparently a bit to mean. They should be quite aggressive on Normal & Hard, but not over the top. I've increased the amount of lives you start with by 1 and you don't return to the title screen when you die now, just back to the map. Once I get the continue system worked out then you'll have a limited number of them.

I apparently just needed to adopt a strategy for Terra Drake, cause I just got him beaten about TWICE AS FAST as before... dodge and shoot... yeah.
accidently posted too soon... dunno how it happened...

Which Boss is gonna enter the fray next? Please don't be saying it's hard yet I have the baddies up in running a few stages... and OH MY GOD... this thing has no mercy! Megaman Zero, nothing. It took 5 tries on Gorillon's stage & Thunder Gull's to get through either stage without getting an entire can o` whoop ass and then some dished out on me. Definitely won't be a walk in the park for ANYONE, megaman vet's or newb's. Odd, as the first Side-scrolling Megaman game in which I beat the final boss in was Megaman Zero. And I also beat Megaman Network Transmission, even though my friend said that game made Megaman 1 look easy.

About that: All I can say is THANK YOU for coming up with and putting Crushers in the game!!!! But, what do all the new power-ups do and what do all the letters on them stand for? BTW, to make Hell on Earth mode(and maybe Berserk) alot harder(not saying they aren't), then on Ram Knight's level in the room filled with baddies, you could make to where if you jump up into one of the purple things you get TRANSPORTED back to the beginning of the level. In other words, you can't around that room to get away from them UNLESS you to go back the Level of HELL*evil smirk* again!

I Am Always Happy To See Self-Made Non-Profit Games. (Like "Little Fighter" If You Have Heard It.) I Have Played MMXN Lots Of, Lots Of, Lots Of Times And Trying To Get More Familiar With The Stages In The Normal Mode. (Still I Get Blasted All the Time......) Somehow I Wonder Why Gorillon Got One-Word Name As A Maverick, Mavericks Usually Have Two-Word Names, At Least "The Skiver". And Wouldn't Three Anthropomorphized Drakes Together Be Too Much......? Why Do Crushers Are Lost When I Don't Use Them For A Long Time? For The Bosses, Personally I Will Get A Crusher Ready, Rushing Into Boss Room, Make Holes On The Mavericks First, Then Doom Them With The Crusher Strike. With A Light-Speed Continuous Botton-Pressing, Everthing Is Pulverized! ;D

Blazeman : I just use MMZ as an example since it's generally accepted as the hardest of the MM series, probably because of the limited continues though now that I think of it. I haven't seen any MM game harder than this is on Hell on Earth though and I haven't made the worst of the bosses yet (The final bosses will have around "10" bars of life on Hell on Earth as well as horrific attacks. Pretty much when you see a dark blue lifebar, get ready for a looooooooong war). I've never played a MMBN game, I hear they're really good though so when I get more time and $ I'll have to pick'm up. Luffy : The instructions cover all of the enhancements now. That'd just be cruel to do the teleport thing but you only have 1 bar of life initially on Hell on Earth, so you wouldn't be able to sponge as much there, plus you can't use crushers on Hell on Earth. I'm also considering a $$$ limit for Berserk & Hell on Earth. Polo : Welcome aboard for starters ^_^ This isn't an actual MMX game so I'm trying to separate mine from Capcom's a bit more by little things like the names & storyline. That's why I added the "Rick's Adventure" to the title since this is a side story to my comic. While playing X/Zero's game through, it'll explain why there's 3 drakes running around for ya I'd stress not relying on the button mashing to much, it'll get you by against a foe here or there on the lower difficulty levels, but on the higher ones you don't have the life to risk taking hits. Also some enemies damage your energy/crusher if they hit you so that's probably why you're losing it. Other than that, if you die or complete the level you lose your crusher energy. I hope that explains a bit for you ^_^

To Polo: some enemies not only damage your character when they crash into you, but they also drain some Weapon energy and Crusher energy...oops...Maelstormm already said it.
Anyway... To Maelstromm: 3 questions: 1. Exactly how much do heart containers increase Max Life? 2. Is there any other way to increase Max Weapon Energy other than the energy source? 3. How much HP/WP is one layer? Around 40?

I'm aiming to have the heart tanks increase a players life by 4 points. That way when combined with the 18 from the Life source it'll equal another full life bar. Each bar is 50 points. I'm debating on having the Heart tanks add a point or so the the energy bar, but I don't want the player to have to much energy since it makes it easy to cheese. I'll have to play around with it to see how it works out.

Ram Knight's up and running, but he's not fully tested so he's probably going to be hyper aggressive ^_^

Yeah... he was TOUGH... probably when he's perfected my guess is he's gonna be about as tough as Terra Drake was the first time I fought him... maybe not THAT hard, but close, but that's my guess... I don't like the Ram Dash too much though, really close range move.

Well Ram Knight is not so hard after all! Yes Ram Dash is very powerful just like the giant ground dash from Terra Drake but the other attack is easy to avoid but one thing i want to say is the Boss theme was the same from the Boss Theme from Mega Man Next....Well maybe soemone will explain his to me plz ??

I enjoyed Guilty Gear's soundtrack, and everyone enjoyed 'Conclusion' from MMN so I carried it over to this one.
Ram Dash is a decent attack damage wise, but the range is poor when you fire it normally. It works really good when you fire it while dashing behind it. Then once you get the Dash+ enhancement you travel at the same speed as the dash so you cross the stage with it.

I take it it's easier to beat Ram Knight with a long-range character than with a melee-combat character...

Most definitely. Shooter types have a way easier time.
Ram Knight's still gonna get toned down a notch though so he won't be this over the top by the time he's done.

With Zero, what the pause menu says you have isn't exactly what have. Example: I beat Gorillion, the pause menu says I have "Standing +1". I actually have that move that shoots shockwaves from the sword. When will that be resolved?

Don't fear! I live! Ahem... *blink blink* ... err.... nevermind.
I just played through it and it worked fine? Did you beat gorillon first and get the blitz ability before you beat Ram Knight? What does X have when you switch over to him since they are both coded to gain the specials the same way?

;D YESS, I have beaten them all!! ...only on easy those seeker weapons are tough. It's just seems like such a tease that Gorrilon and Ram Knight have weapons that can track you, but X doesn't get to use them.

What does X have when you switch over to him since they are both coded to gain the specials the same way? X gets the proper ability for each boss. And yes, I usually go for Gorillion first, as he's easiest for me to beat. And No, it wasn't Blitz ability (that's the Dash special for Zero, right?)
