I think I know what you mean, Zero gains those weird things on his menu, that just means that you got the shockwave for the position. "Standing +1" just means you have the shockwave for standing, and such... at least that's what I observed.

prolly that the first +1 affects the first attack, the second +1 for the second attack, and the third +1 for the third attack.

The next update'll be sometime tonight after I give Harbor Serpent AI. Then I'll be moving onto Volcano Drake who should be done by the following night.

He's a strong character against shooter characters. Melee character's just need to beware of his Ice Blast.

heck, now THAT'S what I'm talking about!! ;D For me though, Harbor Serpent is easy AS LONG as you DON't get hit by that Frost Shield....I found it easier to take him out with a long range character....oh say Plague. I've also discovered a somewhat cheap trick of sorts when playing as Plague (This only works with Plague). Did you know that you could use Plague's special DURING the time you are charging his buster, heh, I used that trick to easily rake up cash in Ram Knight's level.....that's why I like Plague, his standard special takes no weapon energy. ;D ;D ;D ;D I find it easier to just hold down both special and attack in that room in Ram Knight's stage, pick a spot and hack away BTW....I don't know if this was intended or not, or if it has something to do with the key combo I use, my key combo when playing is this (similar to the ZSNESW emulator on certain ROM's) Attack: Numpad-4 Jump: Numpad-5 Dash: Numpad-6 Special: Numpad-8 pause: Enter Crusher: Shift I don't know if that's a bug or not, but I have known of it for a while..you know, just letting you know

Nah, nothing's wrong there. I like to charge Plague's buster up, then swing his swords and let go of the attack button. It'll trick the charge into remaining on and you can run around like a firefly ^_^
I do the sponge thing to a bit differently. Using any melee character go the the right of the right spawner in the locked section of Ram Knights stage. Then just hack away at the goomba-bots untila hover-bot gets close, then jump up and hack them. Wash, rinse and repeat. I figured it'd be useful to have 1 spot to make money easily snce alot of items $ a good bit, especially the sources.

All stages are decorated now ^_^ Fixed several bugs in the code Loco Leaper's the next boss I'm working on. Hopefully he'll be done sometime tomorrow morning. Soooooooo close to being done. I'll 'hopefully be the first to post feedback, starting with Loco Leaper... Loco Leaper: I take it your goal here was to make an extremely tricky and unstable boss here, because YOU'VE done IT!! ;D Getting to close to him will get you hit by his tounge, and getting too far away from him will just prompt him to unleash 1-3 Rebound Shots. Which is pretty unperdictable, therefore..hard to dodge. Tsunami Drake: I HATE THIS GUY!!! His Geyser strikes tempt a player to get away from him, opening the player up for an attack by those bubbles that he launches, also the teleporting thing doesn't help AT ALL!! A pretty tough boss to beat for me.. All in all, this game is coming along GREAT! Keep up the good work because I still support you!

Here is my feedback on the bosses starting with Ram Knight
R.K: Oh so fun with his jump and throwing blade. Can't beat him with Zero, Delia or Sin. Plague is the ideal for this one. 9.9/10
V.D:Not too hard other than the volcano blast. Can't beat with mmx. Zero is the ideal. 8/10
Ts.D: I hate the geyser strike because I like to get up and personal. Can't beat with Sic. Plague is the ideal 8.5/10
Ter.D: Not to hard other then the ground attack that pushes you. Can't beat with no one. Ideal is any close range hun..... thing.9.5/10
H.B: Really hard cuz i keep falling down the holes but my favourite anyways. Cant beat with Sic. Ideal is Delia or Zero.10/10!!
L.L: Very annoying with all the jumping around and sorta hard to beat. Can't beat with ........ Ideal is sic
T.G:He just won't stay in 1 place and is hard to beat.Can't beat with Sin. Ideal is MMx.6/10
Gor: Nothing bad about him just a very easy enemy. Hardest with Sin. Ideal is anyone else.5/10

Welp, since everyone else is giving you feed back on the levels, I thought I may as well too.
Thunder Gull Level: Very Easy. I never have any problem just constantly dashing from start to end with this level.
Boss: Easiest boss in the game if you ask me. Extremely easy with Zero, just stand in front of him and slash away, taking the hits. X, he's equaly easy. Shoot and jump, then dash from the beams.
Gorillon Level: Challenging. Mainly it's the pit falls and the jumping sections. Very detailed level however.
Boss: Not as hard as one would think. I've only used Zero through this game, with a few sparse occations with X. Just stand next to him and hack away. Most of his attacks do very small damage, so he's not hard to beat at all.
Loco Leaper Level: Moderate. Not to much pain invovled in this level. Just dash from Point A to Point B, nothing to bad. Enemies aren't all that evil either.
Boss: Fairly Difficult. Again, using Zero, just stand in front and hack away. By the time he starts to actualy do damage to you he'll probably be in the red, and easily defeated by then.
Inferno Drake Level: EVILE. Probably the hardest level in the game (So far). The lava, the platforms, THE VOLCANO! It gets my vote for hardest level in the game for sure.
Boss: Moderate-Easy. Inferno Drake, for a Drake, is pretty easy. Just stand next to him and slash. When he uses his Lava Wave, dash through it and conitnue the hacking. All of his other attacks will pretty much miss you if you stand toe to toe with him (Litteraly)
Ram Knight Level: Fun. It's not really hard, but this is porbably my favorite level. It's very detailed, and puts in a nice ballance of Easy and Hard. And the Battle Chamber is great. With Zero, it's a great way to earn some quick cash.
Boss: Moderate Ram Knight really isn't all that bad. Again, stand toe to toe with him and hack like there's no tomarrow. When you see him kneel, get ready to dash INTO him, and you'll go through his charge with minimal damage. His Yo-Yo strike is pretty nasty, but he uses it so rearely that it's barely ever a threat. When he tries to Kabong you, just stand and take it. You'll do about twice the damage he'll do with it. So not to bad.
Harbor Serpent Level: Boring. I found this level to be kinda boring. It's basicly leap from platform to platform, conveyer belt to conveyer belt, and mix in a few appearing blocks here andthere.
Boss: Hard/Easy. Depending on who you use, this fight can be easy or hard. With X, the fights a joke, since his strongest attack is a close ranger. Just stand back and fire away, leaping from his water shots. And of course, his rain o' doom isn't to bad, just jump up into it at the last moment and you'll take minimal damage. With Zero he's a pain because of his Tsunami attack, which does the nasty damage.
Terra Drake Level: Joke. The Game's easiest level by far. I can get through it in about 15 seconds flat. Enemies are scarce, the path is linear with hardly any pits. Definetly the easiest level. But it's easyness is alluring to the boss...
Boss: SPAWN OF SATAN. Terra Drake is by far the hardest boss in the level select area. His attacks are devestating, and his Ground Slash can take down your entire Energy Gauge in a matter of seconds, AND put you away from him. I've managed to only beat him with Zero, and that was by pure luck that he didn't use his Ground Slash. Take some E-Tanks into this battle, your gonna need em.
Tsunami Drake Level: Best Designed. This level is the best designed in the game. There's alot of uniqness to it. It throws in an under-water area, invisible blocks, and a good ammount of enemies. Definetly the funnest.
Boss: Hard. Tsunami's hard, but not Terra Drake hard. I go after him last so I can have all the Standing Attack upgrades from the other bosses. His only attack to worry about is his Tidal Rush. Which can drain a good deal of Energy from you. But I've found it's best to just dash like mad left and right until the little puddle dissapates. The rest of the time just stand in front of him and slash since he doesen't have any close range attacks that push you back.

So far so good. Seems like everyone has their favorite characters as well as bosses. I prefer to fight everyone with X ^_^
#1) I've added the final stages back in for a moment to test the first 2 final bosses (They don't really give away any spoilers). Beware of them though because they make all of the maverick bosses seem like childs play. There will be some tweaking undoubtedly.
#2) The first bonus stage is up and running. You get to cruise around in Sic & Sin's Land Tank (From their comic & Blaster Master). Some more tweaking needs to be done here too.
#3) Also there's various other little updates as usual, such as trying to speed up Loco Leaper's stage.
Update 1/20 : All 5 bonus stages are done & running.

Well... since everyone's giving boss reviews...
Gorillon- Really easy... 'specially with X. And with Zero I get in his face and slash the hell outta him.
Thunder Gull- Also really easy, with X, Sic and Plague he's a joke. With the melee types he's a bit trickier though.
Terra Drake- EVIL. With X I stay away and jump his attacks, then blast the hell out of him. I have only fought him with X.
Ram Knight- Not too bad, just avoid the attacks and you're there. Whipped him pretty good with X.
Volcano Drake, Loco Leaper, Tsunami Drake- haven't gotten around to them... except Volcano Drake but it's been a while. They need to go in the weak version...
Harbor Serpent- He took a lot of life, but I think I got him with Zero...
And now characters...
X- Long range capabilities, charged shot is really nice, and the weapons rule. My second favorite. 9/10
Zero- If you get in his way, you eat sabre. That easy. I absolutely RULE with him. Favorite. 10/10
Delia- Not my style, I prefer Zero's melee. Least favorite. 7/10
Plague- A really fun character with both long and close range. Those Dual Blades are fun. Tie for 3rd. 8/10
Sic- RAPID FIREBALLS! nuff said. I have a lot of fun with him. Tied for 3rd. 8/10
Sin- HOLY CRAP. This guy is actually REALLY GOOD. I was surprised at how good... tied for 3rd. 8/10
