Ah, I see, Wade. Death to all old topics that hath not been stored in the archives which Wade hast so generously provided!
But Mantis is right, too: I & everyone else need ther post counts revised, and unless you programmed the Storage Locker not to be part of the forum's post total, that'll need working on, too.

I know mine isn't: Wade took a chunk out of my count over the whole CT business. But then Backstage got rolling again, and the count was back up to a respectible number. It still needs to be corrected, though. Right now I'm trying to bring up my entire post record: I told it to bring the record up when I started typing this post at 5:37, and it's still loading. >_<
Wait, there it is. As of this post, my count is 2329.

Mine is even lower, but anyways. At Dewberry's Domain and Lord Khal's Paradise I've got one of the highest post numbers. Both are fairly dead in activity lately. I'm one of the few members on those boards.
I think I know what happened to all the other people. Have you ever heard of school work? That can take up a lot of your time.
I think I've found the answer to "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" The egg came first. Fish, amphibians, and reptiles lay eggs. They all came before the birds. This answer is only true if the theory of evolution is true, though.

i wonder... with dynamic IPs, does your IP change eachi time you restart the router? if so, there's a really easy way around IP bans.
in other news, this is my 500th post, as well as the 130th post on my only multipage thread.
/* oops, said modem instead of router. sorry if you post looks a little mistermed now, wade.*/

There's a lease that you get from your ISP that determines when you lose your IP. Most places do this on a weekly basis.
To find out your lease (assuming you don't have a router)...
goto START => RUN => type "cmd" (win2000 winXP) "command" (win98 winME) => at the dos prompt type "ipconfig /all" =>
Inside all the gibberish will be your IP address and it's lease.

This answer is only true if the theory of evolution is true, though. My friends and I came up with a similar answer. Also the egg but because the pre-evolved chicken wasn't neccisarily called a chicken. Plus the first modern chicken came out of an egg so there you go.

X-Mas break is really useful... unless you're swamped with other work. Whether I'll be on or not will be sporadic, to say the least. When I am on, though, don't expect long things, because being able to log on 2 days in a row is a luck-dependent thing for a while.

Mantis, I REALLY hate it when people butcher the name of the holiday like that. Please don't do it again.
In other news, I just got MP2, and bought the Nintendo Player's Guide for it while I was at it. Normally I'd say this game will be dead within the week, but I've never had to play a game in which you constantly lose health for extended periods of time. Nonetheless, I intend to beat the Ing & Prime into the ground.

Um... it's not really butchering, if you look at it the right way. "X" actually happens to be another name for "Christ", and not just in the case of "Christmas". The letter X was probably used because it resembles a cross. Anyway, technically, calling it Xmas is the exact same as calling it Christmas. The only difference is, Xmas is harder to say in speech than Christmas, but vice versa for writing. A very knowledgeable adult friend of mine informed me about the "X = Christ" thing, and he's no dummy in religion, so I wouldn't go about doubting him.
**Actually, the whole "X-mas" thing was started by some anti-Christian censor-happy yahoo who was trying to land one more blow below the belt against the Church by cutting out what they feel is the center of the holiday. AkumaTh even stabbed fun at it in one of his Christmas comics over at The Fallout Shelter. Don't mean to crimp your fingers, but then you probably don't care either way.** -GM
Hey, if I didn't believe in the true spirit of the holiday, I wouldn't even call it Xmas. I'd call it something like... Giftgiving Day. After all, when I say Xmas, I still mean it to represent Christmas, not simply Xmas.

Nonetheless, I intend to beat the Ing & Prime into the ground. It only took 5 days for me to beat it. And the amount of losing health isn't really extended except for 1 time (bout maybe 3-5 minutes, maybe more). But thats just me. And be sure not to use that guide too much lest it ruin the game.

I only use guides when I'm really stuck. I only use cheats if the game itself gives it to me. Shouldn't the Game Master, being such a master at games, be able to finish a game without a guide? **That's only an OC name. Think before you throw a verbal barb, Frite.** -GM < I know that, and I did think before I wrote it. I could put in a comment here, but it is way too offensive. >
In Lufia 2, I got the capsule monster Foomy to become a Golden Fox! Man, that thing had an appitate. It has an attack that does over 1000 in damage. My normal attacks does about 200 in damage. It dies too easily because it only has 300 in health and poor defence. It never runs away, though.

Lufia II? You need a Phoenix, man! Train that Armour Dog up, you'll love the end product. Over 3000 damage in one attack... man, it's beautiful. And a heck of a lot easier to get than a Golden Fox.

Next goal is to get a Pheonix (Fire Bird). Gotta buy more weapons. Jelze ate them all. The only problem with Blaze is that he runs away sometimes. I got it now. Another problem is that he is only level 20, and all my characters are level 50-60. My brother and sister came from Sweden today to spend the holidays here in Japan. They brought more games with them. YAY! ;D I'm just wondering when I got time to play them. < Over 200 posts now! >

I have this argument with my brothers. Is Bass's name pronounsed like the fish or the instument/tone? I say it is the instrument/tone, but my bros say it is the fish. In case you're clueless, I mean the Bass from the MegaMan games.

Bass would probably be like Treble, which in musical nature means that they'd go together. But everyone knows that Forte and Gospel are much better names.

The reason they changed to "Bass & Treble" here in America was meant as a plot point of sorts: in making his answer to Rock & Rush, Wily decided to mock even the musical theme Dr Light used to name his first three robots (Blues, Rock, Roll) & their pets (Rush, Tango, Beat). It was meant to be humorous, although I doubt many people got the joke. Like with Rock going by the moniker "Megaman," Forte uses "Bass" as a street handle. Only Wily & Robot Masters like Tenguman would ever call him by his real name, and maybe Roll (if all the rumors about her & Forte being in love are true *snicker*).

The choice in the American names were because of the musical nature, yes, but the reason they changed it was because Gospel had too much of a religious tone in the name. Regardless, I'm the natural Japanatic (Japan Fanatic), so as I call it FF6, so shall I call them Rock and Forte, regardless of their guise.
Well, I'm not really a Japan Fanatic so much as, I really prefer the original Japanese names in most cases than I do the English names. This does have its exceptions (Sabin vs. Mash, anyone?), but for the most part, I stick to Japanese nomenclature.

The reason they changed Gospel's name is because it is a religious thing. They probably desided to change Forte's name while they were at it. < Dangit. ShaMan posted before me. > Nearly all my friends know them by their Japanese name (maybe because nearly all my friends are Japanese, half-Japanese, or have lived in Japan nearly all their lives), so naturally I use the Japanese names.

Wade, you should post up a link to the RPG subforum somewhere arund here: I'm at my godparents' house to celebrate the new year, and I can't get into the subforum because none of the search engines have it up yet & you removed all the threads that had a link to it. If anyone happens to bounce by during their revelling, please take the time to post a link.
