Eh? A pdf (adobe acrobat) file should just open up a window/tab for you to read it in. It's a nice format for documents imo. Like a billion websites out there use it for manuals, menus and just about anything else that involves documents/forms.
I apologise for the late reply, the site has been dead for long i dont conciously think about it much anymore. hard to call myself a fan then eh? either way, thanks for the link, ill check out pantheon flights again soon, and also, did you just say you TOOK OUT the music? i actually appreciated the fact that you used music to set the mood of each scene. and wouldnt have changed that. if its gone, it will disappoint the hell outta me...
also, thanks for reuploading farmer rick, i gotta read that again.

Believe me, it was a tough decision to make on the BGM's. Music and sound can add a type of atmosphere to something that words can't easily do as fast. But while I had to add it into flash to do the sound in it, it just made the whole process overly more complicated than it needed to be when the real reason for reading it should be for the story itself. Some people would want it to be able to turn off the sound, some to make it loop differently, then you'd haveta code it to behave right if the reader turned back to previous pages so it'd need to stop the current BGM and restart the previous. Then you'd need to do the whole thing for each new chapter. So with my current programming skizzilz (or lack thereof) it was taking more time to make the falsh file formatted for the music than it was to actually write the story which was the focus of the whole thing.
Upon thinking about it more though, I could probably add a link to open a youtube music video in a new window with the BGM for the respective section in it pretty easily for those who want to hear the theme's for the sections.
heh, ya i suppose ya could, and it makes sense. for me, if i hated the songs all i had to do was turn my speakers down/off
also, id like to point out i found about a thousand typos while re-reading everything. i could point em out for you, but that might piss ya off. assuming you care about it all, you can go through it whenever its convenient for you.
also, whens chapter 8? i kid, well half kid. i never knew rick could take on a badass knight look. also, how DARE this spellchecker say badass isnt a word. it damn well is. anyways, i wouldnt mind seeing more of ricks background story to explain the armor, i could swear there was a very different description for his demonic form in farmer rick... unless of course, it was changed over the course of the story, or was variable from the beginning, or rick just had that armor stashed away, or that sword he created from the fallen planar gods realm could have even made that armor, i dunno, but eagerly away the explenation.

Rick mainly uses his humanoid form (even though it's not really a form but that's another story and the closest term I can think of for it at the moment) since that's how he was raised to appear and behave. As such he has a full compliment of weapons and gear while he's behaving human. Even though he has all that shiny stuff for while he's appearing humanoid, his actual form is that towering feral demonic thing he showed in Farmer Rick, which also has it's share of gear too, though his main sword fits either. centuries may pass between periods of time when he actually does anything in his true form which is part of the reason Mike and John tease him about slacking so much.
Many people in this world are like slinkies... only entertaining when you push them down some stairs.
ah makes sense i suppose. i remember reading somewhere on this board, that rick was raised human, wand was, half human? or something to that extent. and it wasnt revealed what he is until later in his life.
