It would also help if you used the simple water effects from Tami's stage instead of the ultra-blue tint on MMXN. That was my primary gripe.
Say, what other old-school levels did you plan on recreating?

Remember my whining about Jazz's stage on page 1? It was after 4-5 hours of homework (on my day off too). It doesn't hurt me eyes anymore.
The outfit room reminds me so much of Dead or Alive Extreme Beachvolleyball. Earn money and buy costumes. Now with GMs volleyball idea it is even more like that game.
GM: I don't think you will get the infinite airgilde. Wade is too evil to let you have that. I don't see the problem with the current way it is. You don't really need it that much. It is extremly helpful in Cyan's stage.
I have a new idea. BALLOON SHOOTER! It came to me when I was haging up balloons in the school's gym yesterday. Got a jazz consert there today. With yours truly on tuba. Got to do a solo too. You shoot balloons and try not to get hit. If a balloon hits you you'll lose health. There are two cannons (or more) that continuesly pump out balloons. A timer will show you how long you were able to survive. Balloons aren't evil enough so use mini crabs (or something like that) instead.
(If there are any speling mistakes it is because i'm half awake right now and im too lazy to look for the real spelling)

Why not? Tami's stage uses the same blue tint on the ground in the second half of her stage with a scrolling BG instead of a static one and I haven't heard any complaints (though no tint used on the character's). In MMXN Tsunami Drake was the 8th one coded in and the system lag was very bad in the stage overall. Just look at the difference in performance between Gorillon's stage (which I had to add code in to slow it down) vs Tsunami Drake's.
I'm plotting to add in a level from Metal Warriors, Super Mario, Final Fantasy, and a few other Megaman ones. The 8bit ones are really nice since they don't eat up squat for filesize since the graphics are weak.

Well try to make room for Gamma: I think EVERYBODY at this forum would like to take a shot at my former namesake, including myself. I haven't fought Gamma in at least 3-4 years... I'd love to get the chance to beat him down again, and I don't have the money to get the Anniversry Collection.

Oops... I meant Metal Warriors. It was a kickbutt 2D mech game on SNES.
Gamma will be Wade/Roll Next-ized so don't anticipate the same fight as in MM3. That'd be to easy >8)

Duh, Wade! I know you're gonna make him tougher. Hell, I could give you a plethora of weapons this one guy thought up for the big lug in a fanfic! I'll have to go take a look at the saved file, but if you want those suggestions (and being the sick demented 64573rd of a programmer you are, I KNOW you'll want em), just say so & I'll post em right here on this thread. That way all of you mere mortals can quiver in fear at the might that is the King of Wilymachines! You will all learn to respect & fear the name "Gamma Next!"

GM already told me what Gamma had for weaponry in the novelization... If you gave Gamma all that... You would have one downright scary boss where it is not safe to attack him from ANY direction. We are talking beyond HoE difficulty and going DEEP into Total Annihilation... DGKC would run away as though the devil was on his heels from the sheer firepower.

Screw Total Annihilation, Baerk: we're talking about an unstoppable 2 story-tall behemoth so ungodly powerful that he makes all 7 of Sigma's battle bodies combined look like a dinky Met in comparison! Here's an exerpt from my fic, Robot Masters in 21XX, which pertains to Gamma's humongous arsenal. The person narrating is Desperado, one of my OCs.
I repeat, Gamma's arsenal is U-N-G-O-D-L-Y. The only reason Rock defeated the mighty mechanical god in the MM3 novelization I got those weapons from is because he took a massive gamble on the Top Spin. And since none of the ladies has a Weapon Mastery System, they'll all have to do it Wades' way: the "so-insanely-hard-you-want-to-fine-Wade-&-kill-him" way. ;D

Salrighty... updatey goodness...
- Woodman 4/8, Snakeman 4/8, Tsunami Drake 4/8 - Blazing Beat mini game in there (version 1.0) - 3 new baddies: Dino Tank Red, Mech Hover, Snow Man - Updated the Jukebox to accomodate all the extra junk in here. - Had to pull Napalm Torpedo King Crab down for repairs, he wasn't mean enough so he'll be tweaked a good bit more before release.
================================= GM: Ermmm... that's a bit much (and some things in there that'd either be impossible/self-destructive/or pintless given other things). Have no fear, Gamma will be mean once he's Next-ized.

As usual of me... Enemy reviews!
Dino Tank, Red: The "Evil Red Fiery Beastie" title the Red Met used to have is bestowed upon this little beastie. By stars... so many shots... shield energy goes down instantly... and the crazy evil strategic places you put them in!
Mech Hover: Possibly more or less annoying than their counterparts in X5. Unless you master a tactic to killing them, you're in for a world of hurt. Unlike me.
Snowman: A very nice Snowman. I likes it.
Level Reviews! Blazin' Beat: I like a lack of restriction on your bullets... or maybe it's just high enough for me to simply rapid-away! Gotta love button-mashing in these things...
SnakeMan: Very reminiscent, except didn't the cloud platforms come from the tubes, not between them? <_<
Tsunami Drake: I never really thought of the original one as slow. I think this one is faster though, since it's throwing off my timing with the warping blocks.

That mech... You cheapster! That's Iris' Super Juggernaut Ride Armor with a Repliforce Soldier's head tacked onto it! As for the Lava Triceratank, I don't know why you're so scared of it, Mantis. It's tough, but it's still just a Dino Tank. I'll let Wily handle the last one. ;D Dr Wily: YOU CALL THAT AN ICE-BOT, WADE MONROE?! GRRR! IF I WASN'T FICTIONAL I'D HUNT YOU DOWN AND SLAP YOU FOR MOCKING THE HONOR OF THE ICE WARRIORS!!! Then I'd teach you how to build TRULY powerful robots! GM: ... Um, just so y'all know, I thought the Snowman was okay. Wily's just having a bad day cuz I told him to have Gamma refitted according to Wade's schematics, and it's taking awhile. Bass: I always wanted to see the one creation Dad ever managed to almost kick Rock's ass with. Now's my chance! It won't quite be the same, but it'll still be fun watching Roll & that Robocop ripoff girl get smooshed by the great big lug!

Well, I kinda never got the chance to play anything other than X1 & X4.
Anyway, I've got a comment about the "speed bump" pit in Shin's stage. Wade, you said you put it in there to keep people from just breezing through the area, yet you put a Jumper in the pit. That thing kinda defeats the purpose of the pit, as you get blown back onto solid ground when it hits you.
Also, I recall there being a Jumper in the tiny pit next to the first spring over at Jazz's Dance Club, but now it's gone. Why'd you take that one out?

I don't think those are Spike Balls so much as JumperBots. Spike Balls are the things in the falling section of Shin's stage.
Though, I agree, the JumperBot defeats the purpose of the pit.
Yeah, I'm kinda thankful that the Jumper in Jazz' stage was removed. Was very annoying. Jumpers in general are annoying, actually.
I don't actually fear the Red Dino Tanks, but with the current sound WAV for their attacks, it's a rather intimidating sight with the onslaught of Fireballs.

tsunami drake section three is just a bit TOO evil. i haven't beat it with anyone but tami, and with her i didn't touch any of the disappearing blocks.
in other news, with the addition of the new baddies, i decided that i'm going to use KZ10 for my favorate character. it was a close race between her and tami, but tami will now take a lot more damage.

Everyone's using KZ10...
I'd switch, but I've mastered the delay on her Spread Magnum, allowing me to do awesome turn shots, so I can't drop her now. >_<
Woot! I passed Cyan's stage, with a single life, WITHOUT USING THE SHIELD! I feel very proud... it's the most bullet-infested stage of them all. This proves I'm not using her just to pass by with that shield... <_<

Hrmmm... el'buggos... Didn't catch the pause buggy in KCF fight. Does it do the same thing in the 2nd part?
- The Dino Tank Red's still need to have their rate of fire toned down like their normal counterparts. - The platforms in Snakeman's stage did originally come out of the stages, but it's more convienent for me to do it this way. - The disappearing blocks in this game are naturally faster than in MMXN, as well as placed more evilly in Tsunami Drake stage = more pain. - The Mech Hover is a normal enemy in MMX5. - In Blazing Beat, the number is supposed to be a timer for completing the stage, and baddies aren't supposed to drop items. However I'm trying to be economically sound with the code and apparently there's still some buggers (hence the v1 crack).
Me still like usin' Roll. Just use Beat to kill whatever it is that shoots rather than worrying about blocking.
Heading for a busy weekend so not much will get done during my weekend Sun/Mon.

Yes, bug happens in the second part.
I like the rate of fire of the Dino Tanks. It's not too fast that a character without a shield can't handle. Well, except for Cyan, but she NEVER has to fight them, unless you put them in the Citadel. But since when did Dinosaurs roam around in a Russian Citadel?
I love the delay on KZ10's gun... it's now added a new element of skill...

I know what ya mean. Anyway, when Tami uses up her Weapon Energy, she actually still has some leftover. This probably means you didn't quite correctly calculate how much Energy Tami's Saw Blade would use in proportion to how much Energy is in the meter, Wade. I'd suggest slightly increasing the amount of Energy the weapon consumes to give it one extra use. Oh, and I can't quite remember who noted this (Anon, perhaps?), but KZ10's eyes don't flash red when she's hit: that's just her pretty red eyelashes. ^_^

Odd... Wait a second! Wade said KZ can't feel pain, so why do her damage frames show her flinching? The eyes are probably her irritation at her oppnent not giving up or dying (whichever the case may be), but why the heck does she flinch?!
