Blazing Beat is fun. You could make it a little more difficult. When I say a little I mean a little. No King Crabs! Please Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the flying barrels usually take one shot to take down in Mega Man games? Wade, why does your barrels take way more shots to take down? When you're falling. If you hold down the jump button you fall slower. I noticed this is the long drop in Shin's stage. Useful to get that capsule that floats above you.

Weird... KZ10 just fell through the 1st statue in Shin's stage. The initial blocks kept me from losing a life, thankfully, and all I had to do was jump back up to the top of the roof. I couldn't get her to fall through again, so it must've been some random variable. No biggie. Also, all of the girls can now cross the insane traffic in that stage. I still think it would've been cool to make the middle car a police unit, but I guess you don't wanna bother trying to recolor the sprite, huh? <sighs> Oh well, it was a neat idea. At least Gamma's getting a place in this madness. I'm gonna laugh as we all get totally OWNED by Gamma next when you're done working on him, Wade! I don't think even Mantis will have an easy time with the big lug once you're done upgrading him! ;D I JUST BROKE THE DANCE CLUB SPRINGS! ^_^ Using Cyan's air kick while landing on a spring will cause it to launch her, but the kick will freeze her in place, snapping the spring. ;D

Just hold down DASH with Tami when standing on a spring. It's been the easiest way to break them, but you can easily fix the springs by just jumping straight up.

Well the ramps have been recoded (forgot to mention that) to make them work smoother. Since I loosened them up I'm guessing a bug could happen where you pass through the edges though you'd have to be pretty dang precise to do it.
Bolt Blaster would be a hopeless battle. 100 Gamma Next's wouldn't hold him down. It'd be like a 'Survive this for 3 minutes' type deal.

Abbadon's "car" is THAT powerful?! Ick. >_< Anyway, what did you have planned for Next-izing Gamma? And why couldn't you've made the center car a police vehicle? It would've been so neat!

1) Yes, BB is disgustingly strong (That and he's a very strong demonlord riding in a 300' tall divine mech with custom rims)
2) Dunno... but the players won't like fighting it when I do decide
3) Because I'm lazy

Well considering that I update things by myself at a rate faster than many small companies while still delivering respectable results I'd say I'm entitled to be lazy.
That bit aside has anyone else run into any snags with the redone ramps?

invin: i've done it, and i'm a sort of low/moderate level player.
i've broken through several of the ramps in shin's stage. i've even killed a baddie from inside one of the ramps. looks like shin has a highly advanced way of entering houses.

According to Wade, its guard is "unbreakable" so it can only be hurt by a Crusher. Since Wade has yet to sprite them & code them into the game, once you beat the crab quintet, you may as well just go do something else while you're waiting for your life bar to empty (which takes a long time if you tried to save it when fighting the crabs thinking it would mean something later).

Forgot to put this up this morning when the update was done...
Update ======================== - Finished Tami's stage - Added the new Cannon Bomb thingy to Roll's stage - Adjusted the hover vents in Roll's stage - Added the new map 'buttons' for Bubbleman, Castlevania, and Volley Bear. They aren't active yet, just placeholders. - Jukebox has been updated in as I get ready for the new stages. The Castlevania and Captain Tsubasa ones were pretty bad records so I'mma say sorry now. - Spent a good chunk of the update time working on buggies. I think the majority of the ramp bugs have been fixy'd.

Volly Bear? YAY!!! Wade's using my concept! ^_^ Anyway, nice job with Tami's stage. But why did you make the Hover Mechs fly higher than the girls' heads? That forces ya to jump into the line of fire to hit it, sure, but all you've done is give them a new weakness which makes them rather easy to deal with. Nice job with the Cannon Bomb: it was like a mini-Snowman.

*blink blink* GM saying a monsters to weak after scolding so many others for doing that. Ehhh, nothing a hydra rocket pack and rail cannon won't solve. =============================== I'mma trying to get placeholders for all of the stages up so I'll be able to just roll right into them (no pun) once the graphics are done. Several extras on Page 3 (which is meant to be mini-games and bonus fights) are still up for grabs. I'm debating on dropping the Metal Warrior game stage in favor of another space/platformer-ish one.

Sigma, G-dorf, Ridley? Please kill me.
<GM dies from Kaiser Buster shots, dark Triforce magic, and a whole lotta flames & ballistic weapons>
<GM respawns>
Geez, I was just pointing out that in attempting to make the thing more "evil," you outsmarted yourself & gave the Hover Mech a glaring weakness (which I will now reveal so you can fix it instead of make another G-modder baddie): all 6 girls can pass right underneath it. If you lowered the mech to about 50% of its current hight, the problem would be solved.
The main reason I didn't wanna tell you how to fix it is cuz I don't wanna end up in Anon's shoes.
But I think I just might anyway. <whimper>
And I didn't say it was weak, Wade: I only said that you'd made it easy to "deal with." Notice the wording? I didn't say "kill," I said "deal with," which could mean killing something or just avoiding it. In this case, it was the latter of those two.

! idea ! idea ! have an intro/first fortress stage where the characters have to do their own stage! it would save you time, make it impossible for people to avoid stages, and simply be a good feature. either put this at the start of the game or make it the first "fortress" stage under the reasoning that the gals have to get to/from their battle rooms.

more annoyances: section ten of tami's stage. the one after the deep underwater bit, the area you just came out of is now a bottomless pit. perhaps move the stage around a bit so you come out at the left side of the screen instead of the middle. just wasted a whole bunch of lives there acting stupid, then trying to figure out if i had died or if i had been glitched bach into place.

I was going to let each girl play their own stage from the beginning, just there'd be no boss since well... you're technically the boss. Mainly to earn extra $$$ from the get go. Then during the rematches (oh yes, there will still be rematches ^_^) you'd fight yourself.
Otherwise the mastery code'll give you access to everything and everyone.
===============================
Bonus character wise I've decided to aim for 4 more... Czarina - Fights with her Pheonix Spear. (Which I probably should sketch her out soon for spriting). Crabette - Fights with King Crabby goodness lasers Julia - Fights with her kitty, similar to how Roll does with Beat, only ground based. ?? - Have her in mind and gotta buzz'm to get a response for the okay.
===============================
NameOne: To lazy to change the water ramp level thing, it's not as deadly as the layout prob in Jazz's stage in Section 4-5.
GaMa: The Mech Hover still has more tweaking *demonic grin* left to be done. Don't worry he won't be a push over like DGKC.

And the Demigod King Crab is NOT a pushover: Tami, Roll, and KZ10 are the only ones who can beat that wretched monster easily.

Sub-game Idea: Time Trial.
Iz summatz I got from an ancient Game Boy game known as "Iron League"
Anyway, in the normal mode, you play through 6 stages, each with several rooms.
In Time Trial, you just tackle on one room of each 6.
Basically, in the RN Time Trial, see how you do against 1 room of each of the Girl's stages (1st and 2nd halves if you wish), and a part from the Citadel and from Czarina's stage.
Oh, and in Iron League, there was a constant, special BGM for the Time Trial, so if you go around with this, ye may wanna look up for that.

Hrmmm.... time trial... It'd be trickyish but Issa think I can pull it off as a mini-game. Just have to splice a few of the girls rooms together and add a new BGM... which would have to come from Sonic the Hedgehog since it'd be a race.
=================================
If anyone remembers a NES game called Stinger, that's what I'm fusing into this as Beat's next stage. Stage 7 to be exact. Managed to get the BGM to be only 28k at 8bit... mad squishies.
=================================
Still debating on the last bonus stage theme... leaning towards Ninja Gaiden or Vice Project Doom. Or some ultra trippy candyland themed beast where you can't tell the walls from the floors from the backgrounds from the baddies.
=================================
You are all doomed once Overload Mech Hover King Crab hits the world by request of GM. Muwhahahahahaaaaaa This time I did get the code right so he can strike anywhere at anytime... worse than Nemesis in RE3.
So here I was running and jumping along the first volcano in Cyan's stage when BAM! it swooped down from the top of the screen and dropped a swarm of hydra rockets in random directions all over the place ala`Vile Next, then lined up the rail cannon to immoliate me in 2 hits. It was beautiful... *sniff*
Then there I was car hopping Shin's stage going for that last jump off the moving car's to the truck at the end, and in mid flight BAM! rail cannon to da chin and fell into traffic. Me go splut.
=================================
Back to spriting Julia and Czarina... le`sigh. At least I've got the holiday off... me go beedy-bye now.
