Getting just the money cheat gives the kickstart needed for the higher difficulties. If you can't beat just hard then you are out of luck.

great game 7.5/10 the cheat codes are too hard to get. why cant we just get the codes when we beat it on any difficulty? i hope you make another. you have too. maybe add armor capsules? I make it hard to get them because I'm an evil programmer. Dunno about armor capsules... I really have developed a hatred for making those 8-16bit custom graphics... just doing recolor's is tedious.

If you think HARD MODE is bad, I can't wait to see how much you scream and swear at Wade once you try HoE. XD

Sorry for what may be thread necro, but...
Ive heard something about this maximum money cheat, but I have yet to see any such cheat when I had beaten hard mode. Is there something Im doing wrong or not noticing?

If you are on an old OS then the cheats won't display after the credits... Wade did it so that people couldn't cheese their way through on most very slow computers.

Even though any non-IE browser will give you enough time to draw a diagram of where the player and the enemies are for any given frame, even on a good computer.

Hey, i dunno if anyone remembers me but i used to visit these forums until i was hacked. I have finally got my computer back into shape and started playing MMXN again.. i just registered for an account since am hoping to stay here for a while. I rememebered to come back here after seeing game-master post on a forum for an online RPG i play and decided to come back to these forums. Anyway, introductions aside i have a question for those who have unlocked the hidden boss codes. Does anyone else think they they look a bit like letters? This might be a hint to the identity of the bosses. After playing for a few days i gained my skill back and quickly beat the game on all 4 difficulty settings for the first time. The cheat codes are amazing and i really cant wait for the hidden bosses, i have an idea about them from the FAQ but im still unsure. My favourite feature of the game has got to be mastery mode, fighting bahamut as Zero is insane though (Bahamut Zero, FF7 anyone?)

Thanks chris, I now know EXACTLY who both of the bosses are now. Before I had a guess at one of them (which was right, actually) but now I can pretty much say I'm sure of both. Maelstrom, are you ever actually going to make them?

No. If you can't earn the cheat codes, why should we give you any? "Cheat" in this game means "Add to replayability and give yourself more stuff to do", not "make the game easier so I can say I beat it without putting in the work". There are no godmode codes to be found. In fact, I'll tell you right now the ONLY cheat that can actually "help" make the game "easier" is the money cheat, which just saves you time by not requiring you to repeat early levels for the upgrades. But I almost never use it until the final boss anyways (when I reload with my money wiped to fight the final boss or fortress level 4 I don't want to have to play through another early level to buy some healing items) unless I'm using mastery mode, because its more fun to play with only some of the upgrades.

I actually found Hard...umm...fairly easy? lol beat "Hard Mode" with X/Zero (mostly used zero...im a melee nut...however insane X is in all his games hehe...Vile was...a pushover...), Plague (Boy was it a little difficult with him...Bahamut was HARD... ><), Sic and Sin (Never bothered to use Sin...tho i have tried...and his attack umm...i unno i find it slow...but if i master him then i'd be great with all of them i hope! Sic made the game too easy...lol...poor link, toad and old OLD school mega...may they rest in pieces...Hooah!), and i'm working on the game with Delia! So far, thanks to a little luck and me jumping ALL over the levels...i found all the heart tanks Took forever...but i found em all! Only on Delia...so...i've beaten the game with the other guys on hard mode...but with below "maximum" health for "hard mode". And i really find the bosses EASY with Delia...they go down like butter in a microwave!!!! lol I love Quasar Mastery...it rocks! Wade (hope u dont mind if i call you that ), you're my hero haha! I absolutely love this game! I've played through it so many times!!!!! I intend to beat it on "HoE mode" after i move (moving to belgium from canada ... but i will be playing this more and more i assure you )

Cris, what browser/OS are you using? I know that when I played with firefox the game went much slower than IE, which made things infinitely easier (and made some of the bosses lag so bad that I could type in what should have been rapid fire shooting and have it not even register that I had made a keystroke because it was during the time between frames). I'm not saying you're not great, but if you just said that the game jumpers on hard were easy that throws up a flag to me.

lol I use Firefox but i barely get any lag at all =/ I also uber upgraded the living hell out of my PC so that might help...lol more ram helps too The game moves ridiculously fast on my pc up until the final bosses...which is where i sumtimes get a lil jolt of lag...but then its smooth sailing

Please dont tell me im going to have to do it again! It's so frustrating to win and not get a prize you rightfully are supposed to get! EDIT: This is post 619 in the topic! Go Rey Mysterio! EDIT 2: I came close to beating X+0's story boss (on berserk) without life refills! I got him down to 1 1/2 bars of life before I died. >_< EDIT 3: I DID IT! I BEAT X AND ZERO'S STORY BOSS WITH 3 BARS OF LIFE! (Not 3 bars remaining you twit! ) And yet, I get no code. Freakin' cheap.

lolllll.....well...I beat Delia's boss finally...DUDE her boss has to be the most annoying in the game! Tiamat is a royal pain!! She's harder than Bahamut and Vile put together with her stupid weakness jumping around like the worlds gonna explode... or maybe my reaction time is just slow...either way...lol i finally beat her...grr....took like...35 deaths to learn a half-pattern to her stupid floaty-gem-thingy! -.-;

Really? I thought Tiamat was the least difficult of the four final bosses (and she is also my favorite, but that is NOT cause and effect). While Vile, Bahamut and the Game Jumpers all focused on just hurting them as much as possible in hopes that they couldn't dent you up too badly before dying themselves, Tiamat was all about defense and consistency--the battle takes twice as long because of the weak point, but using the wall and a bit of clever leading (if she uses the thunder cannon when you're on the ground you have to run under it and back to make it fall short rather than try to scale the wall, and when she uses the attack where she shoots those explosions or corrosive gas clouds or whatever at you you have to make sure you don't trap yourself) I can do the fight unscratched. The other bosses all had at least one, maybe two or three attacks that were very hard to avoid (bahamut's sword attack will just about end the fight if you don't flee the moment he starts preparing for it, the GJs tend to gang up on you and use two or three attacks at once, and other than the laser beam and the skull rain there isn't a move in vile's arsenal that I'm overly confident in my ability to dodge).

BTW: If any bug is found and post corrected, yes you'll have to beat the game again However, in this games case you can still just reload your saved game (assuming it's on the appropriate difficulty) and beat the boss to get the code.

Once again, I beat the game, this time as Delia on HoE difficulty. So far, I beat the game as: X+Zero: Berserk, Final boss w/ no health refills Delia: HoE Plague: Berserk AND HoE Sic + Sin: HoE And I got no code when I beat the game as Delia. MaelstormM, when will you fix the game so that MAC OS X users can get the codes? I did NOT spend over 20 hours for nothing.
