This fella is going to be a turn based strategy game based on the old Sega Genesis game "Master of Monsters" (please don't mention the Playstation version *shudder*). If you've never played the game, it was very well made for it's time and addictive. So to try and bring back memories, I'm going to attempt to remake and expand on the games concept.
- Gameplay will be turn based, each player will take their turn and moves their monsters and attacks, then the next player goes, etc. - Like the original, as your monsters gains experience it can evolve into different forms. Currently, there's 233 Monsters and 21 Hidden ones plotted. - Since I don't feel like spending the time programming AI, it's only going to be a 2 - 4 player game not a single player one. - Like the original, you'll have to keep you master (aka: monster summoner) alive. - Taking elements from the god awful 2nd game (a prime example of how to port a SNES game to playstation wrongly) you'll be able to equip items on your monsters to enhance their abilities.
Currently I'm drawling the monsters graphics at work but don't worry, the coding won't start until I catch up on the other projects
