nearly beat Megaman Next 1 on Normal yesterday... but got to the second part of the final level and went insane with the moving platforms. Still, that just drives me to want to beat the game that much more. At least I know I can beat the 2 dragon forms...

ok, i will now stop trying to win it...lol...i wonder how hard Wily will be... speaking of which, according to the comics, a bright light would beat him, so i would probably use the thunder beam to blind him... or I would push his Saucer outside.... ;D

It's well worth the effort to beat it. Much goodies in it Besides MMXN is only going to be harder on the serious levels. I did include a normal mode on this on at least.

It's official, I seriously HATE the level after Bass. He only took me 2 tries. I beat him, then got to that tank thing and tried 7 STRAIGHT TIMES without winning. damn cheap blaster thingy...

I don't want to spoil anything for you, but the level and bosses AFTER you beat Wily will chew you up and spit you out! Let me just say that Bass and Wily COMBINED are peons compared to what you will have to face next!

Yeah, the final stage is great Gives your fingers a gooooood workout. The best strategy for the tank is 'bait and attack' or 'abuse specials'. - If you are playing on illegal, then just lure 1 enemies towards and deal with it (even if it means hopping off the front of the tank), then double back and just take cheap shots at the turret. - If you're playing on a mode where you can use specials, then just abuse the Tornado attack to kill the baddies above you (since they can't block it), and use Arsenal Storm to hit the turret while standing on the platform below it. Then wait for your energy to recharge and repeat. - The final part of the tank is to kill it's eye. Good Luck PS : I think I'm going to modify this game rather than do the remix. I'll probably do something to it over the weekend (God knows people have been asking for a continue feature and there's a number of small improvements I can make easily now).

Well, I'm persistent... and I now know how to beat it... on normal mode, just beat it a minute ago. Man, Wily toom FOREVER to show up for the first attack... I got a little impatient with him. But I managed to beat both Bass and the tank in 1 go, I only lost 2 lives, both accounted to Internet lag. But man, now I gotta beat the rest of it, and that is going to be hell, cause it's already hard... but I think I might be able to do it.
EDIT: I beat it without losing a life yesterday... so I think I need to try hard mode... and now I start to wonder what all the music was, where it was from and all...

The best approach for Arsenal Man's stage is to walk up to the edges and clear any possible cannons, then before you jump (especially in the last little section before the boss) land firing like a looney.

After the dragon boss and the boss rematches, the boss of the second stage is a very aggressive gun happy nutcase. He's fast, hits hard, and shoots alot would best define him. After him comes Wily's tank stage.

After him comes Wily's tank stage. I've aready beaten Bass and Wiley. oh, to me the trick was to keep my distance, for a better chance of dodging, that's a bit hard, because HE keeps closing in on you. The dragon bosses were a bit too easy though, but the boss rematches were harder than in normal mm games. Mainly because you can't balance your energy by taking on the weaker ones after the hardest one. The levels after Wiley are wel designed, but take a LOT of skill, because you need axact timing, or you'll eather bump into those spikey thing, or become a pancake. No, I actually meant the first FINAL final boss.

Oh, the first final boss.
The key to beating it is to constantly shoot and try to avoid jumping to much. The boss doesn't flicker like normal bosses do so just keep on pelting it until you see it's hand raised to fire a bolt across the screen, then just give a hop to avoid the bolt. It's very very very important not to get caught in a jump when the boss appears in the air because it's feather attack will cut clean through you inflicting nasty damage. If you have access to stealth body, then use it while the boss is on the ground and never stop shooting.

oh man it's been a while since I played this... I really gotta replay it on Normal a few times, then move to the Hard... I must say one thing, this is WAY more fair than MMX5 or X4 for that matter, and those give you extra things the original series doesn't have! So I end up messing around on X5 trying to get through the final stages and X4 trying to beat Sigma (or IRIS... GAH) whereas on MMXN and MMN I can tear through pretty well. Bleh to the unfair Capcom for MMX4 and X5. And any other unfair bits. (unfair or things you gotta do 5 times in a row or something.)
