Err. How!?! I can only have ONE save. Therefore, I can't have a save at each of the final bosses in the game. >_< I'll keep the save of Delia at the final boss, as I have the hardest time with her on HoE in the normal stage bosses, but please hurry and fix it. V_V

The codes are the same for all character's. Doesn't matter which final boss you beat. Which, yeah all sites use the same file name so there's only 1 save file. In Roll Next I intend to make about 3 (or more) different save file names.

Beat HoE difficulty as Delia, AGAIN. No code. >_< Could somone PM me the code? I've beaten the game on HoE difficulty, what. 5 times? EDIT: HOLY CRAP. I FOUND THIS AWESOME GLITCH. You CAN tab and get to the final stages ASAP. Start a new game, or reload your saved game. TAB AS SOON AS YOU SEE THE STAGE SELECT (Or the game WILL reset.) you should see a yellow square around Volcano Drake's stage. use the arrow keys to go all the way down, and keep pressing down until you reach VILE NEXT on X+Z's select (More info later.) then left, and right until you get the stage you desire. (For example, you can do FINAL STAGE 1,2, or 3 WITHOUT BEING ON HARD OR BETTER DIFFICULTY.) I am currently on FINAL STAGE 2 With NO ability ups OR core ups. EDIT: The tab trick does NOT work on a continued game. It only works on a new game, and even then, there's only a split-second to press tab before the game goes into "freak-out and reset to piss off the player" mode. Hey, this is like a pseudo version of the ultimate selecting screen. You can choose the difficulty, choose the level, and BAM! instant placing in the game. Please dont remove it. Its the only way for Macintoshes (I think windows can do it too.) to get the ultimate level select without the code, especially if they cant get it. XD EDIT: I beat the game As X+Zero With NO upgrades at ALL. No ability+ upgrades, no weapons, no health upgrades, NOTHING. I only used ONE health recharger during the battle with Vile. Therefore, It IS possible to beat the game with NO upgrades.

Meh... bugs bugs and more bugs. Haveta do something about those tab ones since the hawt tab to reset ain't doing it. Sorry amigo.
Anyhow, almost done with the testing on the MAC version. Gameplay's slow speed in the final stages is what's causing the long delay on it now.
The horrible final level slowdown is what prompted me to put a bit more hussle on the Remix version using tricks from RN, MMNR and a few new ones I learned along the way. Performance wise it should hypothetically improve game performance by at least 800-1000% during the end game stages and decreased the amount of code used by around 500%.
So if that goes according to plan I can just outright remove the OS restrictions since only the boom-boom computers would still have signifigant slowdown. If you are still somehow working on a computer that weak, you earned the advantage just for getting to the page and waiting for the game to load >.>
Then after poking around maybe I'll finally get around to adding the hidden bosses <.<

Don't worry, plenty of time before it goes fully live to get the codes back. Though I do have a few have a few goodies to add in. Can't call it a remix if it's only optimized after all ^_^

All of you people crying about not getting the code, that's nothing. Try using Mastery Mode to beat ALL of the bosses with EVERYONE on HoE difficulty. It's a feat I only pulled off once, and I don't even know if Mantis has done the same. You think just getting the codes is a chore, well I'm issuing a challenge.
Defeat all of the bosses with every character.

Done about 75% of the optimizing. To quote GM's response after seeing it at 40% redone: "Speed = IN-F**KING-SANE! Optimized for sure, Wade!" It's so much more polished now than it was originally it feels like a whole new game. And I feel like I must've been a big time n00b when I coded it. If I can get the boss shots to behave correctly before I go to bed I'll have it uploaded for all to goof off in. Planned changes after all is said and done: >> Totally insane gameplay speed >> 1-2 more storylines >> More save spots >> Graphics cleanup and new SFX's >> 1-2 new characters >> 2 new stages (Including Pineapplers unloved evil twin brother) >> Jukebox option >> Long, long and long awaited Hidden Bosses

I highly recommend making a "slow" version with dumbed-down enemy speed (but no codes, of course) and/or an "Extra Wide" version so that people won't have to suffer TOO much.

www.maelstormm.com/Games/MegamanXNext/RicksAdventure_MMXNR.htmlWell there it is for anyone with some free time on your hands. Still not quite done porting it over. So you'll see an occasional graphic glitch or so (Boss Rematch Room is all fubar'd ^_^). All the codes still work and you can load your game. However you cannot save your game. Also made this version 400x300 to make it easier to see and slow it down since there's more on screen to draw. You can access the "Super Duper Quick Sound Test" screen by going into the shop with Rick & Mega and hitting the red dot next to your $$$. Lemme know if it runs quicker for you all ^_^

here is an unknown guest .... my name in newgrounds is nacritico (i found this page from there); and i want to talk about the game.... i liked it... i can say it... is (one of) the best flash games've ever played... the 8-bit sprites are very well "drawed" and the game interectavity mmm.... 9?... well... i liked... and i know you said you liked it in this way... but i think that the game would be better if you made it in capcom style (i mean, jumping higher; dashing for a little while and just having a dashing jump if you jump after dashing)... why don't you try it? ... i think that a lot of anoying people (me including ) would stop bothering if you do that... i don't know, just try it... what can you loss? .. well.. bye... and by the way, i think the wall jump is not very good programated :S (i know, i can't make a dancing sprite dance in a flash, but i think you could fix that)

Well, first time I've heard unhappy comments about the dashing and wall climbing, with the exception of them being to fast. To know what you consider "not very good programated" about the wall jump though I'd need some kind of an example/recommendation though. Feedback be appreciated though ^_^ =============================== On a different note, still waiting to hear from others besides GM about if the remix version runs better for peoples. Also next update today/tomorrow should have: - Boss rematch stage fixed - Mastery Code fixed - Updated SFX's ripped from MMX, MM8 and any other Megaman game I can get my grubby mit's on to record from with www.highcriteria.com/productfr_trPRO.htm. - And maybe a new shiny graphic here and there.

Updated MMXNR:
- The 2 new characters for the new storyline are previewable (don't have attacks yet). - Couple new sound effects revisions like mentioned (crumbling block noises, wall kick noises, a boom here and there). - Mastery mode and boss rematches should be "mostly" right. - More code revisions to improve speed (<3 Switches)

Ryu's basics are done and playable >>> - Can wall climb with up/down like in his normal game. - Power+ item increases the range/duration of his sword strikes. - Plus a neato dash jump. Fixed a few other conversion bugs that keep sneaking by, still so many more to go le'sigh. And here's some screenies for those pressed for time...

Other than the missing braid, I actually like the rest of the desk job look. In fact, you could make that part of her plot: KZ10 was eventually ousted by newer, supposedly better (but in fact cheaply made) models, and is trapped in a desk job when the game starts, only to be back in the Police Chief's good graces and back out on the streets where she wants to be by the end of the game, complete with a shiny new gun from Rick that can pwn criminals from a mile away. Sound good? Let me know if I should elaborate.

A RAIL GUN?! Dude, that's something better installed in her SWAT Mech. Go with a 50-caliber rifle. Now that bastard can kick ass: it's got a range of 5 miles, and one shot with the anti-armor/incendiary rounds can give a tank a really bad day. If Vile Next'd been hit with one of those 8-inch rounds, he wouldn't be feeling too good. Heh, make the rifle her special weapon, and the rail gun her crusher.
