Heh, Rick could make it a pocket rail cannon.
Ability wise:
Kz10's weapon setup is gonna be sort of like X's only she can pick 1 tazer club type and 1 magnum type that she's earned from the bosses.
Ryu's gonna naturally get scrolls for abilities from Ninja Gaiden.

No no no, only the club will have different variations (Maybe different properties too like armor breaking, hazard, super quick), the magnum shots will be completely different.
Still gotta figure out what shine Mantis and the other new boss will be giving the existing 6 characters >.>

Shine reminds me of Flash and Bright Man, so perhaps a Time Stopper variant for X? I'd need to know who the other boss was before I could formulate a weapon.

Hrmm.... time stop... tricky. Oh wellz, a challenge is always good.
Changes being worked on now: - Added new code to help keep the flow going better to eliminate the freeze-fire bug found with things like X's frost shield and pea-shooter. Also animation correction for when the very first shot is fired and it shows as something it's not. - Original intro stage will be tweaked and added into it. - New intro stages for the other wordly characters will be added (So X/Zero/Delia won't have all the n00b fun).

- Kz10 has had her basic attack added in so she's now playable with an offense like Ryu. - Changed the size to 600x450 and the default quality to high since it's been doin so good. - Player shot limit has been increased to 6 on screen at once instead of 3. - Even more SFX conversions, Code optimizing, Graphic corrections and additions. - Lifebar & Energy Bar graphics will get an overhaul. Special weapon icons for X, Kz10 and Ryu by the energy bar will get redone too. - Maximum number of lifebars will go from 10 to 12. Bosses will probably receive one more lifebar by default.

The anoying guest again (nacritico ) ... i think i'm going to have to make a user, right?! well, i'm too lazy XD, so i don't know... .... i have to things to say... 1º i don't know exactly what a good programation is... in internet is almost imposible found anything good cause it's full of crap (not your game, others) .... but i think is not "well" programed (by well, i mean it's good, but not perfect)... cause it's full of bugs, and there are some problems with the wall jumping... 2º i don't like the 2 new characters you are gonna use... i mean, they are totaly "out of context"... what do i mean by this? ... well, look at the sprites and compare them... the "non-ryu" (i don't read online comics and i don't know her) character's sprite is bad... don't want to sound like a bad guy... but it quality sucks :S (sorry) and ryu... well, his sprite is TOTALY out of context... i mean, you should make him look in the same way of MEGAMAN X,ZERO AND PALS... like i did here: img215.imageshack.us/img215/627/ryuexamplerg3.png... ps: if you make a "megaman style" ryu sprite, don't comit the same mistake i did... make him in a small sprite, and then, when you have finished, bigger (i directly made him bigger, and that's a problem) ps2: maybe i'm gonna make me an user... who knows?

2º i don't like the 2 new characters you are gonna use... i mean, they are totaly "out of context"... But Ryu is being emulated from the Game Ninja Gaiden, thus I want him to look and play similar to how he did in that game, just with his newer ninja garb. Also, technically he's from another world too so that also let's him be in the clear shape wise ^_^ Kz10 does still have some work to go to get her looking like closer to her Roll Next incarnation (Though different uniform). Gotta make her a bit taller and pin on her pony tail... work to be done work to be done work to be done ;_; Thatsa contradiction >_> Can't be good if it's full of bugs, but yousa still not giving me any examples of where it's going wrong so I can see about tweaking anything.

Hm. It seems like you can't save in the remix, although you've probably already heard that. On another note: I just got to the first of the Final Stage's bosses.... Wade, you are a mercilless, unforgiving, sadistic bastard. And then I accidently exited the game when I COULDN'T SAVE!!!!

There's a reason I coined the term "ass hole programming" when the original version of the game first went public, Seda. Wade's brain cannot process the terms "difficulty restraint", "speed control", or "forgiving gameplay". He's almost literally unable to comprehend such things.

Umm...That's like a given. I have yet to beat the game on any harder mode then Beserk. Wade just puts the diffuculty up in space -_-

All the codes still work and you can load your game. However you cannot save your game. Can't let ya save since there's bugs that can still be exploited at the moment >_< Just load your previous save game HoNoEs... GM's ranking on meh brain power /cry

Whine all ya want, Wade, but you know I'm right. Might I suggest adding a reduction in boss attack speed to the things affected by difficulty level? It would go a LONG way in helping people get used to the game, allowing them to slowly work their way up the difficulty ladder.

That sounds like a good idea to me. At the very least, you could keep them from spamming their cheapest moves. On several occasions when fighting Thunder gull, for example, he would just keep flying around for like a minute at a time, constantly using his thunder dash, thingy.

It's not funny anymore, Wade. Now that the game is running faster, you need to take into account that the difficutly levels will need more balancing work.

Pbbbbbft... it was always meant to be faster, just my programming skillzilz at that point prevented it (Except gorillon's stage, it ran like it should've). The FPS is going to be lowered once I finalize it more anyhow since there's no more need to have it above 40fps.
So for any rivers that are being cried, I'm going to simply hop on a yacht and sail across them.

Thing is, there are some bosses with moves that are 99.99999% impossible to dodge without inhuman reflexes. The Heavy Tank, for example, likes to use it's Missle Launch attack immediately after charging. Even with the jump+ upgrade, the only char who can dodge the charge attack without having to wall jump is plague, and then only if he's got most of his special guage left. When the tank fires the missles, most of them hit the char before they can leap away from the wall,doing near-fatal damage if even a couple hit, and that's not even taking into account the missles that come back down...
